PUNTING ON THE RIVER AVON
Take a picnic and enjoy exploring Bath by water. It’s a great way to slowly meander around the city and see some of the iconic sites from a different perspective and if you’re lucky, encounter some of the local wildlife!
FREE TASTERS AT FUDGE KITCHEN
You’d be silly not to go and try their devilishly tasty fudge! We’d recommend taking home a box of the Sea Salted Caramel slab.
HARTLEY FARM SHOP
Staying for the weekend? We recommend heading just outside Bath to Hartley Farm a locally owned farm and restaurant. Explore the local area and return to the farm to refuel on tasty locally-sourced produce from the Farm Shop.
WARLEIGH WEIR
Warleigh Weir is a short 10 minute drive from Bath where you’ll find this secret swimming spot on the River Avon, perfect for a dip on a hot summer’s day. The Warleigh Weir Project has been created to help people sustainably engage with the local nature.
SOTTO SOTTO RESTAURANT
Sotto Sotto is a award-winning Italian restaurant which has an intimate feel with only a handful of tables. The main dining room is barrel-vaulted, stone-walled and dimly lit. The menu offers simple Italian dishes using locally sourced vegetables, seafood and meat. Certainly worth a visit.
TRY ONE OF BATH'S FAMOUS BUNS
The Battle of the buns has been going on for years between Bath Bun and Sally Lunn Bun which are both incredibly delicious. You will have to try them both to decide which is your favourite!
THE ROYAL CRESCENT & THE CIRCUS
Two historic streets of large townhouses in the city of Bath are well-known for their beautiful architecture. The Royal Crescent creates an impressive horseshoe overlooking a private green for the residents to enjoy, whilst The Circus forms a circle of 3 equal sections and originally designed to mimic druid architecture and inspired by Stonehenge.
