Is it safe to travel?

The FCDO has highlighted countries that they believe are safe to travel to; however, we recommend only travelling if you feel comfortable and have the appropriate travel insurance to cover you. 

What happens if I can’t travel due to Covid-19?

At the time of booking we will clearly explain the booking terms and conditions as every adventure is different. Most of our bookings are flexible, which means we can adapt them if reactions change and if there are costs that are non-refundable, we will make you aware before you book.

What extra measures do Travelling Whale take to protect customers?

We will keep you informed on updated FCDO advice, as well as in-country measures that are being undertaken by our suppliers to cover for Covid-19. We are working closely with hotels and partners to make sure you feel as safe and comfortable as possible.

How much is my deposit?

It varies from each booking. We are working closely with suppliers to provide small deposits and to be as flexible with possible. 

Do I need to wear a mask when I travel and on holiday?

Generally you will need to wear a mask when you travel. 

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes, you need comprehensive travel insurance to cover you for COVID-19.

What happens if I get Covid while I’m away?

Every destination has a different policy, so we will make you aware before you travel. You should have comprehensive travel insurance that provides cover for COVID-19 & general medical treatment in the country you are visiting.
