When you enquire online, we will collect personal information from you, your full name, email, address, telephone number and details about where you are looking to travel. We use this information to help you find the right destination and to plan the best holiday

If you book a holiday with us, we will ask you to provide extra details about you and others who are travelling with you to help book your trip. Details include passport details and scans, emergency contact details, travel insurance coverage and any special medical or dietary requirements, visa details and flight details. We use this information to make bookings on your behalf and to book any relevant services set out in your tailor-made itinerary.

If you are a repeat client, we may retain some personal information to help improve the customer journey and help book your next trip with ease.

 

b) Marketing, Social Media and Advertising

Certain information is collected from you when you visit our website under legitimate interest. We will ensure your all rights are protected, but we gather information to ensure that our costumers can have an excellent experience.

 

This information is likely to include, the internet domain you use, your IP address and the device you are on, Your browser type and version, the platform you are using, operating system, the screen resolution, full URLs of the pages you visit, dates and times of when you accessed our website, the links used to access our site, details of the products and services that you are viewing and how long you were on individual pages of the website.

This is not to identify individual users from this data. These data logs are kept temporarily for security and site management purposes only.

All information is processed according to the General Data Protection Regulation GDPR legislation, and we only share relevant personal information when needed with the following third parties:

 

A) Trusted third-party partners, services providers and local partners within the countries our traveller’s travel to. This is also stated in your contractual travel agreement with Travelling Whale.

 

B) In the case that we have a prospect buyers, your information may be included.

 

C) Third parties that need the information to comply with legal obligations such as airlines that need passenger information (phone number and email) under the IATA Resolution 830d (to inform passengers of operations difficulties)

 

D) To protect your rights as well as property or safety we may also share your details with relevant third party providers.

 

Please note that we don’t sell any information to third parties for their purposes and marking information. You can always contact us to remove your consent and to delete your data.

 

How we keep and store your personal information

 

Our company’s policy is to ensure your information is protected. We store your data in our secure cloud platform where all personal information is password protected. Your information online and it is password protected. We keep your data for limited and appropriate periods only.
